Kids can color their way to a very special holiday evening
Participate in coloring contest for a chance to flip the switch at the 2009 Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481
What:
The Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481, the presenting sponsors of the 2009 Circle of Lights®, are offering children age 12 and under the opportunity to flip the switch at the Downtown lighting event Nov. 27 via a coloring contest. Thousands enter every year! The coloring sheet depicts a large holiday light bulb, allowing plenty of room for creativity.
The selected child will be announced Nov. 23. The child will receive a Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 gift, their original coloring sheet entry, a photo of the winner with Santa on stage and VIP reception invitations for up to four people. The 2008 winner was 12-year-old Maycee Hudson of Paragon.
When:
The coloring contest begins Nov. 2 and concludes Nov. 18.
Where:
Pick up a coloring sheet at any Quality Connection contractor office or print one from www.qc-indy.com. The sheet will also be available in The Indianapolis Star Nov. 6, 8 & 13. Drop-off locations are Quality Connection, the Electrical Training Institute, Long Electric, Miller-Eads or ERMCO. Or mail to: 1828 N. Meridian Street, Suite 115, Indianapolis, IN 46202. All coloring sheets must be turned in by 3 p.m. Nov. 18.
